Trader Joe's Pancake Bread: OMG!

Run, don't walk to your local Trader Joe’s for their Pancake Bread. I am serious.

This is not a pancake, nor a bread. That said, it is a deliciousness that combines both and something I never expected to like this much! 

These “breads” aren’t usually my thing and I’m not a big pancake gal…. I am a savory breakfast gal and for sweets, give me icing and frosting, every, single time.

That said, I may be a changed woman. 

So, as I usually do, I buy my mom a treat or two, when I go grocery shopping. The tiny, old bird loves her carb-loaded sweets and who am I to deny her that pleasure. 

I Haden’t been to Trader Joe’s in a long while, so that was my shopping destination. Along with all the produce and “good foods” I purchased, I decided to get the Pancake Bread for my mom.

She and I both went in for a taste and we were overcome by the sheer pleasure of this sweet treat. The pancake texture, along with the maple flavor blew me away. And it is the polar opposite of dry! 

As I said, these “breads” are not my thing, but the Pancake Bread is now… I may have to make an emergency trip back to Trader Joe’s, just to get one for myself. 

Of course, I won’t tell my mom. 

It will be our secret.
